Fogcure was developed in a foundry, and was used by grinders over a four year period. Fogcure provided what no other product on the market could. Protection from the dusty environment that did not interfere with the seal of the goggles. It also eliminated water vapor build up and fog on the inside of the goggles. This lead to less eye injuries and saved company time and supplies. Workers did not have to remove the goggles to dry the inside of the lenses every five minutes and were able to work for extended periods of time.

No modifications were required due to the patent pending design.

Grinders were offered powered air-purifying respirators however, they preferred to use the fogcure device due to its light weight and compact size.

Powered air-purifying respirators are bulky, heavy and interfered with workers vision and ability to work in tight spaces.

Fogcure allowed workers to use standard goggles with faceshields and standard dust masks.

Fogcure is a cost effective solution that helped reduce eye injuries and downtime.
